Is New Kim Kardashian Song ‘Jam (Turn it Up)’ a Hit?

Is Kim Kardashian a singer now? The clothing mogul released her first single, “Jam (Turn it Up),” on Ryan Seacrest’s KISS FM radio show, and she admitted she was nervous.  This is Kim’s brand new venture into music and many are anxiously awaiting the outcome.

KK told Seacrest of previewing her new song, “I think it’s only normal for me to be nervous. I’m only human. I’ve never sang before.” Even after hearing the single, it is not clear that Kardashian has sung a song even now.

From the sound of the new single, Kim Kardashian would certainly be better off keeping her multiple day jobs. While the producers of the song did a fine job with what they had, there is very little to be done to create true musical talent where there is none.

It is quite possible that this song will receive some airtime, simply because she is a reality TV star from “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” That is, however, likely the only reason people would even play this song twice.

It’s something that can be danced to, but it would be fine without the lyrics, as well. Perhaps some enterprising DJ will make a mix and take out the vocals.
