2012 Billboard Music Awards Winners Coverage

The 2012 Billboard Music Awards will be held on May, 20 at 8pm ET/7pm CT live on television network ABC from Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Arena. Excited party rockers will not be disappointed as Katy Perry, Chris Brown, Usher, Kelly Clarkson, Linkin Park and Nelly Furtado are scheduled to perform.  We’ll have all your 2012 Billboard music awards winners results here at TV Music Movie Stars too!

The 2012 nominee list is out and without a surprise, Adele leads the nominees with 18 total nominations. Following with a close second is LMFAO with a total of 17 nominations. Rhianna, Lil Wayne and Lady Gaga rounds out the list of top nominees with 13 for Rhianna and 10 for Lil Waynce and Lady Gaga each.

Adele’s second album 21 has propelled her to the top of the nominee list. An album about her break up from what she described as a “rubbish relationship” earlier in 2012 has resonated with so many that it was at the top of most music charts for many weeks. Since the Billboard Awards are based off album sales, radio play and fan interactions with the music including downloads and digital play, it is expected that Adele will win in most of the categories that she is nominated for.

Not to be outdone is LMFAO. Categorized as an electric duo, LMFAO brought down the roof of many parties with their club anthems off their album Sorry for Party Rocking. They duo performed with Madonna at the 2012 Super Bowl halftime show where she even showed off her shuffling skills. The duos two biggest hits Sexy and I Know It and Party Rock Anthem were featured in commercials including the famous Kia hamster spot.

Rhianna, Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne may find themselves walking away with one or two awards in categories where they are not competing against Adele, so tune in and watch.
